Dan R. Johnson has 27 years of construction and quality control management experience with an emphasis in commercial construction. He is skilled in all phases of general contracting including, but not limited to, engineering, permitting, scheduling, mobilization, and overseeing the job through completion. He has supervised all trades related to the construction industry including site preparation, underground utilities, and steel erection/framing, electrical, mechanical and equipment operation. In addition, he has 15 years of experience in the Alaskan oil fields working with Arco and BP Exploration. During 7 of those 15 years, he worked with BPX's Chemical Department and the Production Engineering Group working on the oil recovery stimulation programs conducted on 360 oil wells on the North Slope of Alaska. He consulted and invested in the West McArthur River oil field in the Cook Inlet Basin of Alaska. This was the first independent company to establish commercial oil production in Alaska.

Wayne R. Veltri, Project Superintendent
Wayne has been involved in the construction industry since 1957 including heavy and highway construction and commercial and residential construction. He followed the welding trades working with the Pile Drivers Local 2396 on the West Coast during construction of the offshore drilling platforms, bound for Cook Inlet off the shores of Kenai, Alaska. He was the co-founder of VECO Construction, an Alaskan based oilfield service company.
Richard Simmons, Project Consultant
Richard has been involved in the construction industry since 1965 with an emphasis in fabrication. He holds licenses and certifications in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, carbon and stainless steel plate and pipe, FCAW-SS, FCAW in carbon steel plate and pipe. Richard has been an instructor for Testing Institute of Alaska in welding certifications and pipefitting. He worked on the pipeline starting in 1974 as a foreman for Morrison Knutson Company where his responsibilities included the development of the pipeline terminal in Valdez. He worked for BP Exploration in Purdon Bay for 20 years where he was a maintenance supervisor for the production facility, supervisor for all of the maintenance on BP’s base camp operations, and supervisor for all field fabrication work.
Mike Dahl, Senior Engineer, Polarconsult Alaska
Mike is a registered Civil Engineer in Alaska (License CE-8480) with an impressive background and education in engineering. He has 15 years of experience as Civil and Project Engineer for a wide range of projects throughout Alaska.
Bernie Cullen, Estimator
Bernie has a BS in Industrial/Construction Technology from University of Northern Colorado. He has 28 years of construction experience with 16 years of Senior Management experience. He has directed projects from general residential to heavy commercial, and has general contractor licenses in Nevada and California and holds various other certifications.
Floyd W. Brooks, Steel Erection Superintendent
Floyd has 25 years experience as general foreman and superintendent of steel erection of metal structures. Mr. Brooks is considered one of the foremost erection superintendents in Alaska and is recognized as such in the steel industry. He has experience in steel erection on a number of projects of all different sizes.
Dan R. Johnson acted as the Project Superintendent for the 20-story Anchorage Marriott Hotel. His duties during the construction consisted of overseeing all steel erection associated with the project.
Dan R. Johnson was the Project Superintendent for the 21-story Anchorage Marriott Hotel. His duties during the construction consisted of overseeing the pouring of 12,000 yards of concrete including having to tent the 21st & 22 the floors in extreme adverse weather conditions (30 below wind chill factor, 25 wind factor). Work subcontracted to GBC general contractors with and excellent time frame completion of 7-Hrs. with factors involved.
Dan R. Johnson acted as the Project Superintendent for the 20-story Anchorage Marriott Hotel. His duties during the construction consisted of the placement of 500 tons of rebar for cast-in-place concrete slabs for the hotel flooring.
D.R. Johnson & Associates was the general contractor on the Lake Otis ElementarySchool outdoor ice rink roof design/build project for the Municipality of Anchorage.
Dan R. Johnson was the Base Shop Foreman at the Kuparuk Industrial Center in Prudhoe Bay. He was instrumental in setting up the preventative maintenance program and the operation of the facility.
